Grape variety : Gamay
40 year old vines, facing south/south-west on granite soil.

A crystal clear, garnet colour with facets of violet characterise this Julienas, with a fresh fruity nose. Cherry aromas mixed with blackcurrant and raspberry. On the palate this wine has silky tannins, with a crisp acidity at the end which works well with the red fruit flavours. A wine packed with flavour which can be enjoyed both young and fresh or alternatively after cellaring for one or two years to allow the development of more complex elements.

Combines perfectly with andouillette, coq au vin, beef bourguignon or a selection of goats’ cheeses.
